Andrew Huffman, BC-HIS

Andrew has been a member of the Indiana Hearing Alliance since 2021, and the International Hearing Society since 2023. He is board certified by the National Board of Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences. Drew has been serving the hard-of-hearing public since 2010. He enjoys working with other professionals to strive for personal and clinical excellence.

Mary Gootee was born and raised in a rural town in Ontario, Canada. She has been a resident of Brownsburg, Indiana for more than 30years with her husband and 2 cats. She received her Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Economics from the University of Arkansas in 1988, and she received her Hearing Instrument Specialist License in 2008. Throughout her career she has helped hundreds. Since 2020 she joined HearingLife.

Senior Hearing Instrument Specialist

Steven S Douglas, HIS, President/Indiana Hearing Alliance, President/CEO/Hearing Aids Plus+, Member/International Hearing Society, was diagnosed with hearing loss in 1990 at the young age of 30 and was fit with his first set of hearing aids. Because of his new-found life of sound, Steve became an advocate for the hearing industry and a licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist.  He is an outdoorsman, a musician, a father, and a husband.

Danny Enright
Danny is the owner of a long-standing hearing aid business serving the Evansville, IN and Owensboro, KY areas, a career path he embarked on after watching his father, David, fit hearing aids starting in 1969. Following his time at Indiana State University, Danny officially joined the family trade on May 1, 1990, and has since dedicated over three decades to helping thousands of patients through regular national training on the latest technologies. Beyond his professional life, Danny and his wife, Alissa, share a large family consisting of six children, two daughters-in-law, and four granddaughters (Briar, Indi, Lola, and Emersyn). In his free time, he is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys camping, traveling, "Jeeping," gardening, and tending to his animals.


Shana Newland
Shana started with Hometown Hearing in Washington and Vincennes in May 2024 and became a Hearing Aid Dealer by July of 2025. She is a proud member of IHS AND IHA. She has one wonderful son named Parker who is almost a senior in high school. In her spare time, she enjoys reading or taking a walk.
